Jul 12th, 2013 Med World Live is excited to announce a new expanded partnership with Medtronic. This agreement now includes Restorative Therapies Group ( Surgical Technologies , Spine and Neuromodulation).  Medtronic utilizes Med World Live’s interactive, multi-camera angle video technology to train sales reps and proctor physicians globally.  This platform allows their staff and physicians to learn remotely which significantly reduces overall training costs and unnecessary travel.

Mar 27th, 2013 Med World Live has formalized its partnership with Magnifi Group, Inc., the developer of Learn-Wise, an interactive eLearning platform. Learn-Wise currently works with over 40 medical device companies and over 6,000 users globally for its online learning management needs, including content management, compliance modules and custom content for  companies educational needs.  The partnership will allow mutual customers to utilize the Med World Live portal technology. Users can view interactive, multi-camera angle training videos and link within the portal to the Learn-Wise platform for training and testing.  We strive to bridge the gap for our customer users to have a comprehensive/seamless learning experience.

Jan 21st, 2013 Med World Live has launched new enhancements to their portal technology with “split screen” capability. Groups or individuals watching training videos within the customer portal can view four sync’d camera angles and change their viewing experience. You can now control any of the four screens by click and dragging any two screens to the above larger screen to have side by side viewing. Viewing surgical procedures or medical device product demos allows you to concentrate on a surgeons hands for skills/techniques and patient monitors as visual aides as it pertains to assisting physicians, nurses and medical device reps for their learning needs.

Dec 10th, 2012 The Med World Live team attended the ITSEC tradeshow, http://www.iitsec.org at the Orlando Convention Center last week.  We had favorable interaction with top Military contacts and consultants within PEO STRI regarding the potential opportunities for Med World Live to enhance medical simulation education and combat training within all branches of the military.  The US Military is currently searching for new opportunities to reduce costs for travel tied to training and education. Two main points gathered from our conversations were”standardize training” and “lessons learned.” These are valued points for improving the soldiers training in the field.

Nov 8th, 2012 Med World Live, Inc. is pleased to announce a new agreement with Yale New Haven Health System. The Yale New Haven Health System Simulation Center is working with Med World Live to build a customized library of training, education and simulation videos for the SYN:APSE program, http://www.ynhhs.org/synapse/  The Med World Live technology utilizes multiple camera angles which enables the user to control their individual viewing experience, resulting in standardized training, better quality outcomes and reduced training budgets.

Nov 6th, 2012 The Med World Live team attended the TCT 2012 trade show on October 23-25 at the Miami Beach Convention Center. Several medical device companies specializing in Cardiovascular products see significant interest in reducing costs for training their sales reps as well as clinician training. Additionally, several companies expressed that reducing training budgets is a major topic within their organizations.

Oct 30th, 2012 Med World Live has entered into a production relationship with StreamLive Productions.  The relationship offers Med World Live clients a turnkey solution, using StreamLive Productions multi-cam flypack system and production crews to shoot LIVE events through the Med World Live portal technology.

Oct 29th, 2012 Med World Live has recently launched our iPad application on the iTunes app store. Customers can now view their medical training videos via their iPads. We have also built the functionality to “hard-set” any training video directly on your iPad.  The new “hard-set” capability allows medical device companies to load a locally contained “hard-set” video content for a new product launch as well as current product showcasing.  All files and video streams associated with the video instance will run locally on your iPad – no internet connectivity is needed.  So when you only have 10-15 minutes in front of a physician, you won’t have to deal with poor internet connectivity typically found in hospital environments.

Sep 11th, 2012 Med World Live has successfully launched their iPad functionality for customers to view video training content via the iPad II and III.

Sep 7th, 2012 Med World Live worked with Loma Linda University Medical Center / Simulation Center last week.  We have now solidified our relationship and shot several training videos pertaining to emergency helicopter transport simulation and several neonatal simulation scenarios tied to nursing skills training and emergency scenarios to enhance their training for real time situations.  We are excited to work with the Simulation Center in other areas and hope to build an extensive library of training videos.

Aug 23rd, 2012 Med World Live, Inc. is pleased to announce a new agreement with Loma Linda University School of Medicine through its Medical Simulation Center. The Loma Linda University School of Medicine Medical Simulation Center is working with Med World Live to build a customized library of training, education and simulation videos associated with students from the school of medicine, nursing, dentistry, pharmacy, allied health, psychology and public health; staff throughout the medical center, pre-hospital care, as well as their surrounding community. Jul 25th, 2012 Med World Live will be in Memphis, TN at the Medical Education & Research Institute shooting training videos for Medtronic Spine and Biologics.  The Med World Live portal is a value-add technology enhancing repetitive learning for sales representatives and physicians.

Apr 18th, 2012 Med World Live announced today that they have formed a partnership with Sonosite BOTHELL, WA, the world leader and specialist in bedside and point-of-care ultrasound. The Med World Live video technology will be used to help train physicans and sales staff on use of their portable ultrasound equipment via the internet.
